Emanuel Cirenza, MD, FAAP, is board certified in pediatrics. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical College. Dr. Cirenza completed his pediatrics internship and residency at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. He joined Community Care Pediatrics Saratoga immediately following his education and training and is still practicing there more than 20 years later.
Dr. Cirenza is active in the Saratoga Springs community, where he serves on the board of the Saratoga Center for the Family and Child Advocacy Center. He is a recipient of Community Care Physicians’ 2004 Caring for Our Community Award in recognition of his outstanding volunteer efforts in support of children’s literacy, youth soccer, and baseball.
When he’s not working, Dr. Cirenza stays active by running, coaching baseball, and finding zen through yoga. He enjoys everything the Adirondacks have to offer, including hiking, snowshoeing, and skiing. Dr. Cirenza is an Adirondack 46er, an experience he shares with his son, and they plan to keep climbing!
Dr. Cirenza enjoys traveling any chance he gets! He has been going on yearly medical missions to Uganda for 15 years and leading teams for over 10 years. He especially loves traveling to visit his children in Utah, Missouri, and Tennessee, attending their football games, and spending time together as a family.
