Dr. Gabriella Izzo is a board-certified pediatrician who provides comprehensive care for children from newborns through college age at Community Care Pediatrics – Saratoga. Dr. Izzo earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics through the University of Connecticut at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford, CT. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Izzo has known she wanted to be a pediatrician for as long as she can remember. While she explored many specialties during medical school, pediatrics always stood out. She was drawn to children’s resilience and optimism—even in the face of illness—and the opportunity to support them and their families through every stage of growth. Her approach to care is rooted in clear communication, individualized attention, and partnership with parents. Dr. Izzo believes that every child is unique and that listening—no matter a child’s age—is one of the most essential parts of providing excellent care. She enjoys working through complex medical concerns and developing thoughtful treatment plans that help children thrive.
Dr. Izzo has a special interest in working with new parents and young families, guiding them from the newborn stage through toddlerhood and beyond. As a parent of two young children herself, she understands the challenges families face and values open, supportive conversations that build confidence over time. Dr. Izzo finds the greatest professional satisfaction in seeing progress—when children and families return to the office healthier, more confident, and successful after working through a challenge together.
Originally from Rochester, NY, Dr. Izzo spent many summers in Saratoga and the Lake George region and is thrilled to call the area home. With family nearby and close access to the Adirondacks, she and her husband love raising their children in a community that feels both familiar and full of opportunity. Outside work, Dr. Izzo enjoys spending time with her family and dog. She can often be found playing cars with her son, reading, enjoying the outdoors, or trying new restaurants.
